  • Pueblo Harvest Cafe

Located inside the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, the Pueblo Harvest Cafe is a full-service restaurant and bakery known for its extraordinary New Native American Cuisine, which incorporates traditional Pueblo flavors into contemporary cooking. Our seasonal menus bridge cultures by pairing indigenous ingredients with culinary influences from around the world, promoting Native cuisine as a living, vibrant part of the modern food world that’s accessible to all.

Pueblo Harvest Cafe was founded in 1976 and is owned and operated by the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico. Visitors to our restaurant can experience the tradition of Pueblo hospitality while dining among original works of Native American art or enjoy patio dining with breathtaking views of the Sandia Mountains. We also host live music every weekend year-round with gourmet pizza and tacos made fresh in our horno oven.

Executive Chef David Ruiz has worked in award-winning restaurants in Aspen, Colorado; San Jose, California; Yosemite, California; and Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was inspired to be a chef by summers he spent on his grandmother’s farm in Northern California, where he helped her tend the farm and cook everything from homemade tortillas to duck confit. As a chef today, he promotes food education and strives to teach people about the connection between food and farming. Ruiz has won Albuquerque’s Sustainable Seafood Competition and Salad Mixer Competition and was nominated for New Mexico Chef of the Year by the New Mexico Restaurant Association. In 2016 he was featured on the Food Network’s popular cooking show “Chopped.” He is also the co-founder of 505 Food Fights, a grassroots chef competition that fosters community in Albuquerque’s culinary industry.
